Profile

I am a member of the congregation of the Missionaries of the Sacred Heart and was ordained a Catholic priest in 1981. I have spent over twenty-five years working in Princethorpe College. During this time I have held many posts including Head of Boarding, Deputy Head and Headmaster.  At present I am Head of the Religious Studies department and contribute to the chaplaincy team with special responsibility for all liturgical celebrations.

The charism of the Missionaries of the Sacred Heart is to make God’s love known to others, in whatever situation we find ourselves. To this end priests and brothers of the congregation are involved in many works, including education. My role within the College has always been to ensure that students receive an excellent academic education but also to be open to a spiritual aspect of their lives. Creating a Christian caring environment, where the gifts and talents of all are celebrated is the very bedrock of Princethorpe College. As a Missionary of the Sacred Heart I endeavour to continue to spread the Gospel message through the ministry of education assisted by all the staff who share in this important ministry.
