Crackley Hall School has been in existence for four years now, but prior to that it was called St Joseph’s School and before that St Joseph’s Convent School. The Past Pupils' Association is a relatively new addition to the school family and was very ably set up by Suan Breakwell, herself a past pupil.

It is very interesting how many girls and in more recent times, boys return to their old school in one way or another, as many have very happy memories of their school life.

Indeed, I was a past pupil from 1973 – 1980 and more recently the Head from 2001-2008. All my memories of the school are happy ones and I am passionate to continue the excellent work done by Suan and develop our Association still further.

There has been much discussion about how this should develop and we would love to hear your ideas and views. We had a very successful reunion in 2004 and as soon as we can facilitate another one, we will.

The re-kindling of old friendships is very enjoyable and our next big celebration will be our 70thbirthday – watch this space for more details.

By the way did you know that the Past Pupils' Association has sponsored a competition to create a flag and the flag has now been produced and flying at the front of school.

One area that the school would like to develop is the ability to access all the highly talented past pupils we have, to either build links or encourage them to come and speak to the children about their jobs. Can you help?
