Profile:
I am married with two sons. I am a Catholic and live in St Francis of Assisi Parish, Kenilworth, where I am a lay reader.
I have 37 years teaching experience, having worked with pupils aged three to 18 years, as well as providing training for adults. Most of my teaching career was spent in the Catholic sector. In 1991 I became head of a large inner city Catholic primary school and took retirement from that post in 2006.
From 1997 until 2006 I was a governor at Newman University College in Birmingham. I have worked for the Diocesan Department of RE in an advisory capacity; I am an inspector of Religious Education and have written articles on RE for the diocesan newspaper - 'Catholic Today'.
From 2003 until 2008 I worked with over a hundred primary schools advising their governing bodies on Head Teacher Performance Management.
I have a strong commitment to Catholic Education and am delighted to be part of the WCISF.
