The pass rates at Princethorpe are consistently higher than the national average. In the 2007 exam session 87.5% of the exams sat were at GCSE grades A* - C. The percentage of A* and A grade passes were both at record highs and many students far exceeded expectations.

Each year a large proportion of our Year 11 pupils continue on after their GCSEs to our Sixth Form, where increasingly they are being joined by new students from other maintained and independent schools, who are attracted by the co-educational environment, the choice of courses, excellent facilities and good exam results.
