Crackley Hall pupil Abi Riley has reached the National Finals of the Primary Maths Challenge. The eleven year old who confesses that she ’loves maths’ entered The Mathematics Association’s Annual Challenge. Each year a selection of demanding maths problems are set with only the top 2% reaching the finals. Over 94000 Year 6 pupils across the country entered the competition. Abi’s near perfect score places her within the top of those qualifying.

Assistant Head Teacher Mrs Sarah Lammas commented, ‘Crackley Hall is so proud of Abi’s achievement. She is an excellent maths scholar who consistently demonstrates commitment and perseverance in the face of a challenge.’

Abi is preparing for the Finals to be held early in February.
