First School Mass Of the Year

Led by Father Kevin Hooper, the mass focused on firm foundations and new beginnings. Fr Kevin reminded us all that the beginning of a new school year is an opportunity to start afresh by turning over a new leaf. The community listened to the story about the wise and foolish builders. The foolish builder built their house on sand where it was crushed in a storm. The wise person built their house on solid rock where it would stand up to any storm. Fr Kevin encouraged us all to use Jesus' teachings as a foundation to help each of us have a successful school year.

Together, we gave thanks for the wonderful partnership between children, parents, staff and the local community who help to make our school such a special place to be.
