Crackley Celebrates European Day Of Languages
26 Sep
To celebrate European Day of Languages, Crackley Hall pupils took part in an exciting quiz competition.
Pupils were challenged to answer questions on the languages spoken at Crackley Hall School. Both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 classes took part, earning points for their House teams. The quiz sparked lively discussions about the many languages spoken by Crackley children and staff. Pupils were amazed to discover the international backgrounds of many of their teachers. From Mrs Van Zyl’s school days in Malawi to Mrs Wildey’s knowledge of Swedish, the children were fascinated to learn more about how important languages are to the people who teach them. The quiz also inspired curious conversations about countries around the world as well as dreams of future travel and adventure!
