Mobile Planetarium Visited Junior 5
Junior 5 were captivated by the wonders of the cosmos during an unforgettable visit from the University of Warwick’s mobile planetarium.
As part of their current Science topic on the Solar System, pupils took part in a fascinating workshop designed to deepen their understanding of space and the universe.
Stepping inside the immersive planetarium, the children were transported on an incredible journey through our Solar System and beyond. They watched in amazement as planets, stars and galaxies appeared to soar above their heads, bringing their classroom learning to life. Junior 5 were in awe of the immense size and scale of the universe, gaining a deeper appreciation of the vast and extraordinary world beyond our planet.
Adding to the excitement, our Reception Classes were also lucky enough to enjoy a sneaky peek inside the planetarium too, sparking wonder and curiosity among our youngest learners as they caught their first glimpse of the amazing world of space.
Many thanks to Warwick University's Astro Physics team for bringing their mobile planetarium to visit Crackley Hall!
