The children and staff came to school dressed as their favourite book character. There were so many inventive and creative costumes, and everyone looked amazing. Many exciting activities took place including, story time in the library, design your own book cover and book quizzes.

This year World Book Day was celebrating 25 years of inspiring and delighting children with the wonder of reading and books, all while helping to reinforce the importance of building literacy skills for life.

More exciting news for Crackley’s book lovers is that the Scholastic Book Fair is coming to Crackley soon! It will take place the week beginning Monday 14 March so watch out for more details shortly.
