Crackley Hosts Schools' Cross Country

28 Apr

On Wednesday 26 April, Crackley Hall was delighted to hosted this year’s Inter Schools Cross Country Championships.

Primary schools from across the region and town came together to enjoy an afternoon of healthy competition and sporting success, with some exceptional performances on display.

Dixie Grammar were high up on the winners list, securing top place in multiple categories, closely followed by Priors Field Primary School. Clinton Primary School and Park Hill Junior School pupils also put in some excellent individual performances.

Special thanks to Kenilworth Runners who provided essential marshal support and sponsored a trophy, which was awarded to St Augustine's RC primary School, for their great show of team spirit, despite small numbers, encouraging each other and winning the girls' relay race.

A big thank you as well to Danny Quartermaine, Leamington Spa’s unbeaten professional boxer, who came along to present the awards.

Well done to all who took part!
