Pupils Pedalled Their Way To Bikeability Success

30 Mar

At the start of the Easter holidays the playground was a hive of activity with pupils from Junior 5 and Junior 6 taking part in Levels 1 and 2 Bikeability training,

Pupils learnt how to complete bike checks, and cycling control and awareness, before venturing out onto the local roads to practise turning. From there, it was out onto the busier roads to practice turning in and out of junctions.

All pupils improved their confidence and awareness, and as the last group pedalled their way to those well-deserved certificates on the Thursday afternoon, it's safe to say the experience had been a huge success.

Many thanks to Outspoken Training for running such enjoyable and engaging sessions.
