Required for September 2026, a well-qualified graduate with QTS to be an upper Key Stage 2 class teacher. Teachers who would be able to make an earlier start in April 2026 are also encouraged to apply.
The ability to teach Maths and English to Year 5 and 6 children is essential, as is an enthusiasm to become involved with the co-curricular life of the school. Candidates should be able to demonstrate success in the classroom and be effective team players.
This role is a full-time position, but applications from candidates interested in working 0.8 of a full-time post are also welcomed.
The timetable for children in Key Stage 2 at Crescent involves a number of specialist-taught lessons, in addition to English, Maths and PSHE, which are delivered by the form teacher.
ECTs are also welcome to apply; the Crescent has a comprehensive induction programme leading to full QTS status.
